In October of 2022, Hurricane Ian left more than 50 billion dollars in damage and 35,000 homes damaged or destroyed.

As the coast is continuously being rebuilt, new regulations and insurance requirements include raising homes to new heights and standards. In many cases homes that fall below the required height can not be rebuilt because of the Fema 50% rule. Once elevated, your home is no longer subject to this rule and can be returned to its pre-storm condition.
