Handling Pollen

Pollen can be annoying not only due to the allergies it causes, but the green layer it leaves all over outdoor furniture and windows. Counts of pollen are rising every year, affecting more states than ever before. It can be bothersome to clean, and time consuming. In this article, we will give some tips on how to clean your home of the pollen, and how to keep it off.

The easiest way to keep pollen off your exterior walls is to pressure wash it. This can be done on the exterior part of the windows, the walls, roof, screen porch, or anything else outside that can handle the pressure.

While the pressure washer is great, it does not get in the places that need more of a scrub or deeper clean. Combine warm water with dishwashing detergent in a spray bottle and you'll have the best cleaning solution that will not do any damage to surfaces.

What about the outdoor furniture? Well, use the same cleaning solution and scrub away! Be sure to dry the furniture thoroughly so no mold grows.
