Spring Cleaning Tips Part 2

Have you seen out previous article? We began with a few tips there so check it out if you haven't already! Here is a continuation of tips and a checklist you can follow to make your space smell and feel good!

1. Cutting boards

Sometimes it's hard to make sure you cleaned all of it, especially those knife marks which can harbor food and bacteria. The best and most natural way to do this is to squeeze some lemon juice on it and sprinkle a bit of baking soda on top of that. Let it do its job and rinse off. It's that easy!

2. Shower curtain

Did you know that you can wash your shower curtains? Just make sure it's on gentle cycle and hang it back up to air dry!

3. Curtains

Freshen up your curtains and separate the dust from them by tossing them into the dryer for 15 min with the "air-only" setting. Make sure to hang them immediately afterwards to avoid wrinkles.

4. Ceiling fans and lights

Don't forget about these! They are easily out of mind since they are usually out of site; however, they harbor a lot of dust. Fans especially will collect them on their blades while they are spinning. Use an expandable duster to get these crevices.

5. Toys

Hands harbor more bacteria and filth than your feet meaning your kid's and pet's toys are probably extremely grimy without you even noticing. Use you dishwasher to efficient clean these. Just make sure to skip the heated dry session.

We hope you enjoyed these tips. The AJS family is wishing you and your family safety and wellbeing during these uncertain times. Stay home and stay safe.
